Do you hold my money?
Never. Rent flows directly from your driver to your own bank account through Stripe Connect. Wheelo only takes a 1% commission as an automatic fee — we never hold your rent, bonds or balances.
Can my drivers see each other, or my other cars?
No. Every merchant account is strictly isolated. A driver only ever sees their own agreement, vehicle, balance and payment history. You never see a driver's full card or bank details either — only the type and last 4 digits.
What happens when a driver's payment fails?
You and the driver are both notified immediately. The charge auto-retries after 24 hours, up to 3 attempts. The moment the driver tops up their account, you can hit Charge Now and collect instantly — no waiting for the next cycle.
How do fines and tolls work?
Enter the rego, date and time from the notice once. Wheelo looks up which driver held that car at that exact moment and bills it straight to them — with the evidence attached. If the car was between drivers, we flag it for you to resolve.
Do I need to be tech-savvy?
If you can use a banking app, you can run Wheelo. Add a car, invite a driver by link, set the weekly rent — that's it. The driver does their own sign-up, signing and payment setup from their phone.
